The Thanksgiving Play by Larissa FastHorse is a satirical comedy examining cultural appropriation through humor and discomfort. The cafetorium set, inspired by American elementary schools, used institutional textures and familiar details—tile flooring, banners, flags, and whiteboards—to ground the realism while reinforcing the satire. The design remained simple, allowing the actors and humor to stay at the forefront.
